Endless Roads

So many places to go, yet no escape,Each horizon beckons, but none can save.I walk through seasons, in dusk and dawn,Yet the path stretches on, and on. A perpetual journey, with no end in sight,The stars burn above, cold and bright.I search for a shore, a place to belong,But the road is endless, the nights…

So many places to go, yet no escape,
Each horizon beckons, but none can save.
I walk through seasons, in dusk and dawn,
Yet the path stretches on, and on.

A perpetual journey, with no end in sight,
The stars burn above, cold and bright.
I search for a shore, a place to belong,
But the road is endless, the nights too long.

No home awaits at the edge of time,
Just fading echoes and forgotten signs.
So many places, but none that remain,
A traveler lost in his own refrain.

And though I wander, though I roam,
I carry my prison wherever I go.
